Spring Has Sprung 2013!

I’m not sure what type of tree this is but it is so fragrant.  They hit their peak a few days ago and soon the white buds will fall all over the ground creating a beautiful white carpet all over until the first windy day!

Despite all the rain we were finally able to get most of the gardens planted.  It has been so wet here!

The lower courtyards are featuring Red Gernaiums this year.  We started our famous Zinnias by seed this year so it will be a bit before they are in bloom.  There is a volunteer Teddy Bear Sunflower plant popping up and it will be gorgeous I am sure!  The Route 20 urns are planted with Lantana.  A great plant for pots that tend to dry out!

The front couryards are featuring traditional giant Yellow and old marigolds.  The borders carry a variety of perennials an some annuals for constant flowers.  I still have to complete the back courtyard gardens that has the fire pit.  Any suggestions?!
